 leaving the White House last month, and on Tuesday, the couple shared heartfelt Valentine's Day messagesto each other via social media. 

In true ridiculously romantic Obama fashion, Barack wished Michelle a happy holiday when he shared a photo of the couple.

 snuggling during a video taping at the White House in 2015, writing, "Almost 28 years with you, but it always feels new." 

Michelle followed up with a similar sentiment when postinga snapfrom their recent beach getaway, toes in the sand, calling Barack "the love of my life and favorite island mate."
