I love animals, which is why I always feel so conflicted about keeping them as pets because I wonder whether or not they love me or my house. 

Like if I was taken away from my mother at birth just so I could live with a different species and abide by their rules I’m not sure I’d feel so happy about it.

Then again, animals are awesome and I’ve seen plenty of pets who look absolutely stoked to be living with their owners.

Plus there’s the whole cuteness factor of keeping a pet around.

They even celebrate the holidays together and wear matching costumes.
