Dad’s baby is adopted. 24 years later, they have no idea they’re volunteering at same charity

     
Two strangers that were volunteering at the same Rescue Mission turned out to be a lot closer in reality when the two realized that they were actually Father and Daughter and both volunteering at the same location.


Russell had put Robinson up for adoption early on as he was not yet ready to be a father, but he always kept her in his mind and in his prayers, hoping she would reconnect in some way.

 Robinson called him one day to reconnect, and he knew his prayers were answered.

Russell remembers the phone call clearly-“For me to hear on the other end and she said ‘Please say something … 

my heart’s beating through my chest..’

 The only thing I could tell her was everything’s going to be okay… everything’s going to be all right,”

     


The two met the day after the phone call, and they realized then that they were both volunteering at the same Rescue Mission, sometimes on the same date and time, just in different parts of the mission.

The following year, the two spent their first father’s day together in 2013!

     

Life can truly throw strange coincidences at us sometimes, and this is one of those moments where it seems too good to be true. 

We’re glad these two have been able to reconnect and share a bond that celebrates love, helping each other,and family!
